Support Tablets and Mobile Devices
Andreas Baderschneider
I would love to use wonder for a hybrid event. This event is visited by many young people. As they are using mobile devices instead of Computers it is essential to have mobile support. Please add this to your development.

I don’t have a Laptop or PC. Just for the working stuff. But there is the VPN and cookie policy is not allowing the use of wonder.me. So I can’t join the sessions ;( I know so many people who just have an iPad instead of an laptop. So please make it happen!

Allowing use on mobile phones and tablets even with bugsIt would help to allow the use on mobile phones and tablets even in a beta version -initially this was possible, the camera was not working but I was able to join conversations and read and write chats as well.

First off, appreciate the clear messaging from wonder when joining from a tablet -- "not supported on tablets" is clear to users.
Similar experience to others here, large events, a few people unable to participate because they are on phone or tablet. Meetings move to either hangouts or zoom instead.

We're using wonder for different event types, but there are always about 2-3 users who can't join because of a lack of mobile and Firefox support. Therefore, we moved for our professional events to https://www.hyhyve.com The mechanic is more or less the same, and they offer support for tablets, phones, and Firefox.

I only heard about Wonder a couple of days ago. I've just been having a play with it and there's so much I love about it... but, and it's a big BUT, the lack of support for iPads and mobile phones means it's probably not going to work for any of the scenarios I'd been happily imagining. I'm currently running some English classes for refugees, most of whom only have access to a mobile phone, not a computer, and I also host a monthly zoom meeting for a club where we have a speaker and also some social chat time. I think the social chat would work so much better on Wonder, but until it works on iPads we're not going to be able to make the switch.

We have been looking into switching to Wonder for a number of weekly events we hold. Unfortunately, lack of support for tablet or mobile devices means we cannot do this. Such as shame as the functionality would be perfect for our needs
